Zoe-perry

Perry was born in Chicago to the actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. She made her first appearances in television shows as Jackie Harris, a character that was played by her mother on Roseanne, an ABC comedy Roseanne. The parents of her didn't want her to pursue acting until she became an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry claimed that she was shy to act in high school but began performing at Northwestern University as a way to make friends after transferring from Boston University. Perry made her debut with New York after graduation, performing in minor parts on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But homesickness made Perry return to California and find work as a stage actress. Perry performed with her mom as part of The Other Place at Broadway at the end of 2013. In the year 2015, she was together with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie. It is part of the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry was a part of nine episodes in 2016 of the ABC drama The Family. In 2017, Perry starred in an appearance on ABC's political thriller Scandal alongside her father. She also played in the role of a younger Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon, a CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. Despite having a family connection to the character she received the role through an audition.
