Mary Marg Helgenberger was born in the year 1958. Her career began in the early 1980s and first came to attention because of her role as Siobhan Ryan on the soap opera for daytime viewers Ryan's Hope from 1982 to the year 1986. The most famous role she has played has been Catherine Willows, a CBS procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation (1900-13) as well as Immortality (2015 TV Movie). She reprised the role in Immortality's sequel Vegas (2022-present). Helgenberger was also in the character K.C. The actress won an Emmy Award in 1990 for Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series for her role as Koloski on China Beach, an ABC Drama China Beach from 1988 to 1991. She has also appeared in the TV series Under the Dome, Intelligence and in the film Species (1996) Species II (1998), Erin Brockovich (2000) and Mr. Brooks (2007). She also is the most senior one of four siblings. McCain completed her education at Phoenix Country Day School followed by Xavier College Preparatory a Catholic, all-girl, private high school. In 2007, she received her bachelor's degree in art and history at Columbia University. The year after, she was a co-host of the daytime show The View, which she was host until 2021. In recognition of her efforts, she received the honor of four Daytime Emmy Award nominations. McCain is also a Daily Mail contributor after her three-year stint on The View. McCain has also written four books: My Dad John McCain, Dirty Sexy Politics and America You Sexy Bitch.
